For our wedding reception, we were going for badass house party so the venue was the most incredible beach house with the largest lagoon pool in the state of Florida. Check out this ambiance.

The. Best. Food. I’m still not over it. Alex and Charlie made all of our wedding food dreams come true. They went above and beyond the vision we gave them and everything about it was incredible. There was a raw bar in the tiki shack in the pool that had shrimp, oysters and crab. We had a brisket taco station with mac and cheese and all the taco toppings. There was cheese and meats to snack on all night long. The best part might have been the tenderloin station! Legit the best tenderloin I have ever had in my life. I kept going up all night to grab a piece of meat and dip it in the horseradish sauce and it was amazing! If you are ever in the Charleston area, make sure to go visit Alex at Estadio where she is the chef.

Our first dance was “Your Smiling Face” by James Taylor.

Then we did the father/daughter and mother/son dances.

We had a cute cake with our pets represented as little figurines. My mom was in charge of the dessert table and absolutely killed it. Her Pittsburgh squad showed up and mad`e a cookie table which is a Steel Town wedding tradition. There was also a nod to my favorite Texas thing with a pyramid of Buc-ee’s cotton candy with little bride and groom beavers on top.

All the drinks and dancing and fun.

We had a fun flower wall where we could take pictures!

I had the best time and kept screaming about having a HUSBAND. My dress was very fun to wear and I just kept spinning all night long.

At the end of the night, I did an outfit change and we jumped in the pool!

Definitely a night we will remember for the rest of our lives. We had so much fun and are so incredibly thankful for everyone who contributed to our magical day.
