This is my last week of work before sabbatical.
Lunch at Local Taco in Brentwood.
Book club at Carter’s which is inside the Union Station Hotel downtown. Very bittersweet being my last meeting as the leader of the Nashville Girls Book Club. Grabbed some beer at The Flying Saucer afterwards.
Soy Bistro for lunch on Tuesday.
Tried Cryotherapy for the first time ever. It was super weird but also awesome.
Later that night, I went to the new Van Dyke hotel in East Nashville. Really cool spot with great cocktails.
Wednesday – Westshore for lunch. Basic delicious pizza.
Sold my kayak which has been on so many adventures the last couple of years.
Gave away some of my shelves to a friend who wanted them for her apartment.
Dinner at AVO with an old coworker and friend. Always love the avocado margarita! Oh and it was National Tequila Day!
Made friends with a very fluffy puppy in the parking lot. And found this mural!
Lunch at Cinco De Mayo with some coworkers. Way Late Play date at Adventure Science Center with Jacqui! Such a fun night filled with games!
Last work lunch was a legit country restaurant called Barbara’s. I had the fried chicken and loved every bite of it.
Happy hour at Firebirds with Tractor Supply friends to celebrate my last day. Super sad to leave these awesome people. My mom came into town and I had plans for meals all throughout the weekend starting with Union Common brunch.
Then we made candles at the Candle Bar.
We hit up the Full Moon Market that was pretty bizarre.
Then pre-gamed dinner at O-ku.
For dinner, we did the tasting menu at Tailor in germantown. It was a gorgeous space and well thought out menu. We were not expecting the Indian/American fusion as the cuisine type so that was not the best on my mom’s sensitive stomach. Overall it was pretty good though.
Sunday brunch was at etc. with my favorite girls in Nashville.
Lots of packing Sunday afternoon, then dinner at Folk, which was fabulous!
And sabbatical begins!
